1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between page loads — for example that you already submitted an enquiry, or which page brought you here.
Some cookies are set by us. Others are set by services we use, such as Google, when their scripts run on a page you visit.
2. Cookies we use
We keep this deliberately short. This is a brochure and enquiry site, not a store or a member area, so we use very few cookies.
- →Strictly necessary: keep the site working, remember form state, and protect against abusive submissions. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
- →Measurement and advertising: Google tags (gtag.js) tell us which pages and which ads lead to enquiries so we do not spend money advertising to the wrong readers.
- →Referral attribution: when you arrive from a link or an ad, we store the campaign details you arrived with so the enquiry you send us carries its source.
3. What we do not do
We do not sell cookie data. We do not use cookies to read your manuscript, and nothing in your manuscript is stored in a cookie — files you send us are handled under our Privacy Policy instead.
4. Controlling cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies from its settings, and offers a private or incognito window that clears them when you close it.
You can also opt out of personalised Google advertising at google.com/settings/ads. If you block measurement cookies, the site still works — we simply see less about which pages helped you.
5. Changes and contact
If we add or remove a service that sets cookies, we update this page and the effective date below the heading.
